There is a kindness in dogs that makes them truly the best of friends. And they aren’t just good to humans either. They can be so sweet to each other. As a viral video online shows! The clip shows a Husky going up to a German Shepherd who uses a wheelchair while at the dog park. And you can tell that it really made the dog’s day!
You know who else was touched? The German Shepherd’s mama, Nicole. The woman was probably so worried that no one would play with her pooch at the park. Thank goodness this dog proved her wrong.
Parents of dogs with special needs really do put their heart on the line every time they take them somewhere social. There are the questions, the stares…I’m sure it can be so exhausting. You know how special your pup is, you just need others to see.

So it absolutely makes sense to me that Nicole got emotional when she saw the Husky approach her German Shepherd. Her dog probably doesn’t get the same kind of attention as the other pups at the park because of his wheelchair. But this one Husky saw her German Shepherd for the good boy he is inside.
“Crying because this baby was so sweet trying to play with my disabled dog,” the video’s text overlay reads. “My heart.”
Awww, this is just so understandable. People in the comments section really felt for the dog mom too.
“You better have exchanged info with the parents and scheduled another playdate,” one person wrote.
“It would be a Husk. Truly the sweetest dogs on the planet,” someone else added.
“Huskies have never met a stranger. My girls make friends everywhere we go!!” chimed in a Husky mom.
“The way he/she knew to be gentle,” one commenter praised.
Are Huskies Friendly to Other Dogs?
When it comes to Huskies, the rumors are definitely true. These dogs are extremely friendly — even to other pups. Think of it this way: Huskies love to be in a pack and are happy being around others. Another dog is just a new pack member they haven’t met.
They truly are social animals. No wonder he was so ready to meet a new friend.
